The basic course is in Dutch. For English-speaking participants, instructions are given in English. Handouts are in Dutch.

De cursus bestaat uit twee delen: theorie en praktijk. In het eerste deel leer je alles over de eigenschappen van leder, het onderhoud en komen er diverse praktijkvoorbeelden aan bod. 

In het tweede gedeelte ga je daadwerkelijk aan de slag met gepigmenteerd gladleder. Je leert: 

• Kleuren maken 
• De mattering afstellen
• Gaten vullen
• Scheuren repareren
• Krassen bijwerken 
• Craquelé behandelen 
• En meer! 

Producten: Je leert het gebruik van soft en strong remover, Keralux® ActivePlus, intensieve reiniger, vulmiddel voor gaten, filler voor schaafplekjes, filler S, leerlijm, profielmassa, reparatieverf C, mattering, top finish spray, lotion.

The course consists of two parts: theory and practice. In the first part, you will learn everything about the properties of leather and its maintenance, and various practical examples will be covered.

In the second part, you will actually get to work with pigmented smooth leather. You will learn:

Mixing colors
Adjusting the matting
Filling holes
Repairing tears
Touching up scratches
Treating cracking
And more!
